is a program launched in May 2004 by Shoshauna Shy in Madison, Wisconsin with the mission of bringing poetry out of the libraries, bookstores and classrooms into the public arena. The calls for submissions are always worldwide and conducted via cyber word-of-mouth.

Since this program began, the work of nearly 90 poets from the U.S., Canada, England, Wales, Spain, Australia, and China have appeared on over 2500 java jackets, nearly 2000 postcards, 1000 bookmarks, and in hand-sized books. Some of these poems related to biking, walking and an appreciation for nature, and were distributed by two different companies, Community Car and Budget Bicycle.
Other poems selected for the subsequent "Postage Due" project, touching on modes of written communication, were made available at coffeehouses and bookstores in downtown Madison, Wisconsin.
Currently in worldwide circulation are the poems selected for the 2007 theme titled "No Direct Route Home" which involved surprising detours. These were paired with an artist's work and produced on postcards which became part of the National Poetry Month displays at four public library locations, and were made available for distribution at five art galleries, a cafe and bookstore.
